Prior to 1950,s Everyone in Pothwar lived and earned their lives
by working in their fields or working in British Army, Average
house was above built in stone and soil, the family lived along
with their animals in the same house, Better house on those day
had its own haveli and all the house covered with mud facing
with boundary wall, The cooking was done out side in a tandoor
where the neighbours would share the fire resulting in burning
less fire and helping the environment
